This was one of the most special days of my life. When I first posted about my breast cancer diagnosis, my main goal was for every woman to know about the Breast Cancer Risk Assessment Test. I never could’ve predicted how far-reaching it would go. After reading about my story, journalist @alisonhallreporting was sent out on an assignment to take the test and, at the age of 32, discovered she had breast cancer. Alison bravely underwent a double mastectomy and shared her journey with the world. We wanted to film our first time meeting in person to show the deep connection that’s formed when you meet other women going through breast cancer. Alison surprised me with letters from women who also discovered they had breast cancer after hearing my story. Magic Malc turns 3 today ???? ???? This photo was taken last year just around the time I found out I had breast cancer. I remember this time fondly all because of this little boy. He’s made me stronger and softer in ways I never knew I could be. Happiest Birthday my sweet boy. You cracked my heart wide open.
