Thank you @kellyclarksonshow for the space and love to have this conversation ???? Finally talking about having postpartum anxiety. I wanted to talk about this sooner (cancer had to take priority) because I wanted others going through it to know that it happens so they can seek help early on. I had heard of postpartum depression and was prepared for it, but instead of depression I woke up one day with a tightness in my chest and anxiety that left me exhausted and worried. I didn’t know what was happening to me for too long and it spiraled to the point where I couldn’t get out of it for a year. I hope others who are dealing with this or have dealt with this know that it’s not uncommon and that we can and do get better.

Found this video from last March when Malc was 16 months old and he and I had a cold. He’d been saying “mama” for awhile by this point but I was never able to get it on camera. But then, he said it! ????????

This is the best.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I hope by sharing this it will help others find comfort, inspiration and support on their own journey.
